Honor 9A is receiving the first software update with July 2020 security patch in India. It brings the Petal Search feature and system security improvement for Indian variants.
The software version of this update is Magic UI 3.1.0.034 and an update package size is 501MB. We recommended users to install the latest update for better device performance.

Honor is rolling out the first software update with the July 2020 security patch for Honor 9A in Europe. It brings a number of new features to improves device performance. (Via Huawei Central)
This update adds the Petal Search to the widgets on the home screen to made app search simpler, introduce knuckle gestures, and installs new security.
