Huawei rolling out February 2022 security update for Huawei Mate 30E smartphones. The latest update boosts the system security and stability to enhance the overall device performance.

February 2022 update comes with HarmonyOS 2.0 build number 2.0.0.223. And brings fixes for various vulnerabilities including 2 CVEs in the system as well as 40 CVEs in the third-party libraries.

There are two ways to update your device manually and both are mentioned below:
Via Settings:
Go to smartphone’s settings, click on system & updates followed by software updates. Now, an update page appears on the screen, tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES. If an update is found, hit the download and install button.
Via My Huawei:
Open My Huawei app, if not installed then download it from AppGallery. Afterward, go to the update section and follow on-screen steps.
Furthermore, the update will not erase your data but we recommend you make a backup of important data. For fast and buffer-free update download, connect through WiFi network. Most importantly, maintain sufficient storage on the phone.
