After the end of June month and a long wait, Huawei has finally started to roll out the June 2021 security patch for its eligible devices. According to the latest info, the Nova 7i phones have begun receiving the June 2021 update with security improvements.
Just recently Huawei began deploying the June 2021 security update with Enjoy 10S and Enjoy 10e in China. While with the Nova 7i, the company expands the June 2021 update for global users.
This firmware can be identified by the EMUI 10.0 version 10.1.0.336 upgraded from 10.1.0.327 (C636E1R3P2). According to Huawei, the June 2021 security patch fixes different levels of exploits including 2 critical and 13 high levels of CVEs.

Besides the security improvements, there aren’t any changes noticed in the changelog of the update. You can check the steps to download below along with the attached screenshot.
Things to remember:
- Take a backup of your important data to prevent any kind of data loss
- Check the available storage and make sure to maintain enough before downloading the update
- Use a stable WiFi connection to download the package
How to check for updates?
Via Settings
- You can update your device via Settings
- Then navigate to System & updates >> Software updates >> Check for updates
- Lastly (If the update appears) then click on Download and install
- After installation restarts the device to optimize the applications
Via Support app:
- This is an alternate method to download the update on Huawei devices through the Support app
- For that go to Service tab >> Update >> Download and install >> and then finally Install
