Huawei has started sending its latest March 2022 security update for its eligible devices. And at this time Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition smartphone has started grabbing the February 2022 security update.

February 2022 Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition’s update has landed on the ground with HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.226. However, the required base HM OS version to get this update is 2.0.0.225.
Huawei Nova 8 series models including Nova 8, Nova 8 Pro, and Nova 8 SE have already collected the February 2022 security patch last week. The security improvements boost system privacy and protect the device against threats.
However, in the HarmonyOS system, Huawei has fixed over 60 security and privacy issues among them 1 CVEs belongs to Kernel, 1 CVE form system, and the rest 40 CVEs were resolved in third-party libraries.
How to update:
To update your Huawei smartphone, go to settings, tap on system & updates and software updates followed by checks for updates. Now, let the phone fetch the latest software update for you. If an update is available, then hit the download and install button.
Aside from this, you can request updates through the My Huawei app. Open the My Huawei and make sure that it is running on the latest version. From here, visit the update section and follow on-screen instructions to download and install the update.
