Apple released second developers beta of iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5

Previously, Apple released the first beta for the upcoming iOS 14.5 which introduced a new feature that allows users to unlock their iPhones while wearing a face mask. In addition, it also comes with the support to set Spotify as a default music player in place of Apple Music.

Now, the US tech giant has released the second phase of iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5 developers beta for testing purposes. This new developer beta comes two weeks after the first one. These all are part of the major iOS 14 update which brings a bunch of new features.

While the new 14.5 update is also aimed to bring several new features for iPhones and iPad devices. Other than unlocking through the Apple Watch, the update also allows the users to set Spotify as the default music player.

Further, the update also brings worldwide dual band 5G support on the iPhone 12 models, so after the public release the users will be able to connect at multiple lines at 5G speed. The new update also include support for AirPlay 2 Apple Fitness+ on the iPad and iPhone.

Additionally, it also comes with features such as Waze like crowsourcing, updated Apple Maps with new Report button, new upgrades in Siri and much more to come in the upcoming beta updates. The developers can download the beta update from the Apple developers center after installing proper profile o the iPhones and iPads.
