January 2022 MIUI security update released for POCO F2 Pro smartphones


Xiaomi released a new software update for POCO F2 Pro smartphone users running on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition, which also brings January 2022 security update for the device.

According to the information, January 2022 security update arrived with MIUI 12.5 Enhanced version number V12.5.6.0.RJKMIXM. To be mentioned, this update is currently available for the Global variant.


The company is continuously sending the MIUI 13 version updates to a lot of devices. In this line, it is reported that Redmi K30 Pro AKA POCO F2 Pro is ready to receive Android 12 based MIUI 13 and will be available to users very soon.

Xiaomi’s latest MIUI 13 custom user interface has attracted the attention of users with its eye-catching features. These new features are a new sidebar, fresh wallpapers, improved fonts, and more.

How to update:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap on About Phone
  • Click on System Updates
  • Then tap Download and Install button

 POCO F2 Pro:

POCO F2 Pro launched with a 6.67 inch AMOLED display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G processor, expands 163.3 x 75.4 x 8.9 mm (6.43 x 2.97 x 0.35 in) and weighs around 219g.
