In the month of February, Honor has started sending previous months’ security improvements to its smartphones. Alongside the security updates, the company has also completed the Magic UI 4 rollout beta program for its eligible flagship phones including the Honor 30, V30, V20, 20 series, and the Magic 2 in China and the global rollout is also underway.
Now as per the latest information, the Honor 20, 20 Pro, and V20 are grabbing February 2021 security update for improved system security and service stability. Users can identify this latest update on their smartphone via Magic UI 3.1 version 10.1.0.277 that comes with an update size of 133MB.
The important thing to note is that the update for the Honor 20, 20 Pro, and V20 is currently rolling out in India and will soon expand to the other regions as well. Also, it is rolling out in batch so it may take some time to reach your device. And if you have received this latest firmware then here are the steps to download.
How to update:
Download via Settings:
Open Settings > then click on System & updates. After opening a Software update, tap on Check for updates option. If the update is available to download then click Download and install. And after installation Reboot the device.
Download via Support app:
Open the Support app on your device and then go to the Service tab. Click on the Update button and then tap on Check for update option. If the update is available then click on Download and install. After installation Reboot the device.
