As early as February 2021, Samsung released the One UI 3.1 update based on Android 11 for the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone. This is an important firmware update, which adds many new features, such as Object Eraser, Eye Comfort Shield, Google Duo integration, automatic bud switching, etc.
Now, the company has pushed new software updates to Galaxy S20 FE 4G and 5G variants in different markets in Europe. This version can be identified by the internal version of the PDA: G780FXXS3CUD7 and G781BXXU3CUD6 for Galaxy S20 FE LTE and Galaxy S20 FE 5G, respectively.
With the latest software update, Galaxy S20 FE smartphone users are the latest users to join the May 2021 security patch. Recently, Samsung stated that this new security update has fixed 3 critical CVEs, 24 high CVEs, and 17 moderate CVEs. Other than that, the changelog did not show any new features or major system optimizations.
In addition, the South Korean tech giant also introduced a new camera feature called Dual Recording for Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 users, along with a security patch for May 2021. This new Director’s view-like camera feature allows users to record video from both the rear (main) camera and the front camera at the same time.
