May 2023 MIUI update now live for Redmi 10 and 10 2022

Xiaomi has seeded dozens of devices with the improvements and fixes of the May 2023 security patch, meanwhile, the latest update is now live for the Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 2022 models. However, the June patch rollout is also expected to begin soon.

Going toward the details, the May 2023 update for the Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 2022 has arrived with MIUI build version V13.0.7.0.SKURUXM. In addition, the patch carries an installation package of 3.0GB, thus it’s recommended to opt for a stable Wi-Fi connection.

Moving on, the changelog of the patch didn’t mention any significant elements or major optimizations for your handy gadgets. But being a regular monthly firmware, it will definitely bring fresh energy to your Redmi models and let them perform more accurately.

In addition, the firmware will also enhance the security and stability of smartphones and improve the core mechanism for a better user experience. Hence, the update assures that your smartphones will get more safe and secure after upgrading to the latest version.

Also, the patch is currently live in Russia and will expand to more users in the coming days or weeks. Consequently, it’s an incremental rollout thus it will take some time to cover all the eligible units in the country. In case you don’t want to wait, then proceed with the manual process.

Open the Settings app of your Redmi 10 and 10 2022 device, scroll down and tap on About phone, and select the System Updates option. Here, press the MIUI version, to check for the latest update, once you find it. Hit the Download button and Install the patch.
