May 2023 MIUI update now live for Xiaomi 12T

The Xiaomi 12t, which runs Android 14 developer preview 1, has now begun receiving the May 2023 security update. This new firmware will maintain the reliability of the system and further resolve some glitches and exploits which the users are facing, to offer an uninterrupted and seamless interpretation.

As per the information, the May 2023 update for Xiaomi 12T is rolling out in Europe and Russia with the MIUI build version V14.0.10.0.TLQEUXM and V14.0.3.0.TLQRUXM respectively. Simultaneously, the fixes and improvements of the latest patch are included in a massive package of around 5.0GB.

Moving on, the latest firmware will improve the core mechanism of the system and enhance the safety grades for better and more adequate performance. In addition, the update will also optimize the operations of some applications, so that consumers of the device can enjoy every element adequately.

The patch further offers improved protection against harmful threats, viruses, and other safety-related assaults. It also provides increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure alongwith reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss.

Accordingly, the update is currently rolling out in Europe and Russia, however, the company will expand its reach to more users in the coming days or weeks. Consequently, the patch is rolling out through the OTA (over the air) method and will take some time to reach every unit, till then you can check for it manually.

To check and download the update, open the Settings app on your 12T device and go to the About Phone menu. Here, click on the System Updates menu and press the MIUI version, now let the system fetch a new version for you. Once done, hit the Download button and Install the update.
