According to a recent document released by Microsoft, Win10 file manager there is a Bug, can make part of the FLAC format audio file is damaged.
According to Microsoft, in Windows 10 2004 and above, if you use the file manager to modify the metadata of a FLAC audio file, such as title, artist, or other audio metadata, the FLAC file will be damaged and cannot be played.
Microsoft has released an emergency fix update for this bug. In the KB5003214 update, Microsoft has confirmed that the problem has been fixed, and you can install it.

Some FLAC files will contain ID3 frame headers at the beginning, which contain information such as singer, title, album name, age, style, and so on.
In Win10 2004 and above, the file explorer ignores the ID3 frame header, because it determines that FLAC files start with 4 bytes FLAC by default.
Therefore, when the user uses the file explorer to modify the metadata of the FLAC file, the ID3 frame header will be overwritten, thereby destroying the original FLAC file structure and making the music player unable to recognize it normally.
