Xiaomi has rolled out a new MIUI 12.5 beta update with version 21.10.19 in China. The new update comes with several fixes and optimizations for the status bar, notification bar, home screen, and lock screen.

Latest MIUI 12.5 beta update optimizes the layout of the desktop home screen and external screen, unifies the number of icons, and organizes the desktop more efficiently and icon loading mechanism to make the experience of Mi MIX FOLD.
It also fixes various issues including anomaly of inconsistent notification size and background caused by app lock, the background turns black when receiving SMS notifications occasionally, notification display is misplaced by pressing and holding the notification bar, and more.
Currently, the new update is only available for testers in China. You can check the updated changelog of this update mentioned below.
