Currently, this update is based on MIUI 11 and the device is listed in the second round of MIUI 12 update schedule which has already begun.
The firmware version of the August security update for Redmi Note 8T is V11.0.5.0.PCXMIXM. You can manually check and download the update from the link mentioned below.
