On August 10, alongside the launch of Mi Mix 4, Xiaomi also introduced its new tablet series, Mi Pad 5 in China and later in global markets. The series includes three models – Mi Pad 5, Mi Pad 5 Pro, and Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G.
Among them, the Pad 5 Pro is now getting a new software update that installs the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced version. We know that MIUI 12.5 Enhanced mainly focuses on four fields, such as Focus Calculation, Atomic Memory, Liquid Storage, and Smart Balance.

The new focused algorithms will dynamically allocate system resources based on specific scenes, ensuring a smooth experience on all models. The atomized or ultra-fine memory management mechanism will make RAM usage more efficient.

In addition, the firmware also optimizes stylus connectivity and third-party theme compatibility for Notification shade as well as fixes the issue that notifications weren’t displayed correctly when App lock was used.
