Xiaomi has rolled out MIUI 12.5 update for Mi CC9 users in China. It brings a bunch of new features and optimizations to enhance the device’s performance.

The firmware version of this new update is V12.5.3.0.RFCCNXM and users will have to install a 2.6GB software package to install the update. You can also download the update from the link mentioned below.

According to the latest info, Xiaomi rolling out a new MIUI 12.5 update to another Mi device called Mi CC9 Meitu Edition. This device was officially launched in partnership with Meitu in July 2019. The smartphone is similar to the standard Mi CC9 but features camera tweaks courtesy of the Meitu team.
In terms of software, it runs Android 9 Pie over the skin of MIUI 10. It has also been updated earlier on Android 11 based on MIUI 12 OS. Now the latest major platform upgrade for the Mi CC9 Meitu Edition based on Android 11, which is the latest version of Xiaomi’s custom skin MIUI is MIUI 12.5. The new version comes with a set of new features to enhance the users’ experience and device performance.

No security patch has been detected in this software update as the changelog mentions. It brings optimizations, system stability, and other fixes. However, the changelog does not show any other details or added new features apart from the security improvements in the Mi CC9 Meitu Edition.
It is important to note that the update is currently rolling out in batches and may take time to reach your device. It is recommended for you to maintain enough amount of battery and storage on your device.
