MIUI 12 beta update for Xiaomi Mi 10 series and Redmi K30 Pro/Poco F2 Pro brings camera optimizations

Xiaomi already completed MIUI 12 update rollout for the first and second batch devices, and also the rollout started for the third batch. This update brings a bundle of new features and improvements for better device performance.

Recently, the latest MIUI 12  beta update was announced with the version 20.9.22 on the telegram channel. This beta update brings some changes and optimizations. Below you can check the changelog of this beta update.

CHANGELOG OF MIUI 12 BETA VERSION 20.9.22 :

Camera

  • New: New AI watermark adds 3 location watermarks and latitude and longitude watermarks
  •  Adapted models: Redmi K30 Pro, Mi 10 Ultra
  •  Optimization: Video recording mode 8K video function entrance integrated into the top menu bar
  • Suitable models: Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 10, Redmi K30 Pro, Mi 10 Pro

According to the announcement post, the latest MIUI 12 beta update for Xiaomi Mi 10 series and Redmi K30 Pro/Poco F2 Pro brings camera improvements. This update also optimizes the Video recording mode 8K video function entrance integrated into the top menu bar.

In addition, the announcement post also included some information that the Xiaomi MIUI 12 closed and public beta development to remain suspended between September 30 to October 12 because of the National Day 2020 holidays in China.

The development of MIUI 12 has been suspended only in China but the global market will also suffer a huge loss as the Xiaomi offers all major updates first in the home country. Earlier, we reported that the Redmi K30 received the MIUI 12 update but the same is still awaited for the Poco F2 Pro units.

The MIUI 12 update rollout for the third batch will highly affect by these holidays while the development of Android 11 stable updates will be delayed for devices currently under internal and public beta testing.
