Xiaomi fixes notification, fingerprint and other problems via MIUI 12.5 beta update

Xiaomi is rolling out a new MIUI 12.5 beta update to its eligible smartphones. Identified via the build version 21.11.22, the update comes with several bug fixes to enhance users’ experience. In addition, it also brings some new functionalities.

Going by the changelog, it fixes an issue where a transparent notification will be displayed after setting the group notification as unimportant, the problem of fingerprint unlock failure on some models, and the obstacle that fingerprints are required to unlock twice after entering the PIN code.

It further adds a new graffiti function to provide more recording possibilities as well as a new thinking note function for an excellent structured writing tool.

Lastly, the problems that the time and date interval is large when selecting the lock screen time style interface, and the background of the pop-up window is abnormal after quickly tapping the lock screen signature has also been fixed.
