Xiaomi has kicked off a new MIUI 12.5 beta update with version 21.9.15 China. The new update brings some optimizations for the Mi Video app to improves the device performance.

MIUI 12.5 new beta update optimizes playback experience, starting speed, and better playback function of the Mi Video app. Currently, the new update is only available for testers in China. You can check the updated changelog of this update mentioned below.

Optimized playback experience, faster starting speed, better playback function
Due to the major version upgrade of Android, Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi 11 Pro, Xiaomi 11, Redmi K40 Pro will suspend the release of internal testing from September 6, 2021. In the weekly participation standard of internal testing, you can check the version you are using Voting and posting experience stickers.
In order to give Mi Fan friends a relatively better experience in using the test version, the recent release plan is as follows:
- September 20-September 21, 2021: closed beta release of the development version is suspended
- September 22, 2021 (Wednesday): the development version of the internal test, the development version of the public test resume release
