Xiaomi is releasing a new software update for Redmi Note 8 users globally. It brings optimizations and minor bugs fix to enhance device performance.

The new update is still based on MIUI 11 and Android 9 Pie. This update optimizes the system stability and reduced system lag. The MIUI 12 update for this device will release very soon.
Earlier, we reported that the MIUI 12 update for Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 might be rolled out before October 10. However, the update already released for Redmi Note 8 in China so before October 10 we could see a wider rollout.
The firmware version of this update is V11.0.11.0.PCOMIXM for global variants of the Redmi Note 8. Below you can check the download link and changelog of this update.
