At Xiaomi’s 4th MIDC (Mi Developer Conference), the company has revealed a new feature that puts MIUI 12 one step ahead of the global free window i.e. Small Window Capsule.

‘MIUI Free Window’ is based on the Android multi-window Freedom solution. This new feature makes a better multitasking experience by automatic suspension and direct results.
When any important information updated in any application, a small window will automatically appear on the screen and the main information will show up. For customization details, you can check the Mi Open Platform Free Window Adaptation document.
As per the MIUI sub-form, the company will launch the MIUI 12 small window capsule feature at the end of December 2020.
