On 28 December 2020, Xiaomi unveiled the newest version of the MIUI, MIUI 12.5 at the Mi 11 launch conference in China. It comes with a bunch of new features and optimizations to enhance the overall user experience.
Now, the company is planning to launch the MIUI 12.5 globally on February 08, 2021. The information is officially confirmed by Xiaomi’s global MIUI ROM official via a Facebook post.

MIUI 12.5 Global Launch event will be streamed on a social media account. This implies that the global launch of Xiaomi Mi 11 could happen on the same date.
Xiaomi released the first Snapdragon 888 smartphone, Mi 11 in China. Although the device ran the old MIUI 12 out of the box, the new MIUI 12.5 was announced with Mi 11 launch event. Therefore, the same situation can happen globally, but we should wait for official news.
