Motorola is sending a new software update for the Moto G42 and it aims to install the April 2023 security patch for the device. As per the latest inputs, this update is rolling out in India and some parts of Europe. Meanwhile, the OEM will continue to expand it among more users.
For your information, Motorola G42 is getting April 2023 security patch with the Android S2SES32.28-67-6 version. On the other hand, it holds a software package of 66.63MB. The OTA size isn’t much, and you can easily download it using the regular mobile data pack.
Notably, Motorola releases its updates in batches and you may expect some delay in this update distribution. However, you have the chance to drive into the Settings menu > About Devices and then tap on System Updates to install the new firmware manually on your handset.
