Multi-screen collaboration and September 2020 security update is rolling out for Honor 30 Youth Edition

Honor has released September 2020 software update for Honor 30 Youth Edition which is also known as Honor 30 Lite. This software update installs the September security patch and now supports for new Multi-screen collaboration function which provides easy file transfer between PCs and tablets as well as optimizations for the system.

Recently, the same software update was rolled out for Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro and Enjoy Z 5G running on EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.147.

  • Honor 30 Youth Edition upgraded to MagicUI 3.1.1.193

  • It may take some time to reach your device
  • Maintain enough storage and battery
  • If possible, connect to WiFi

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:

Through Setting:

  1. Open Settings on your device
  2. Click on system & updates
  3. Click on the software update
  4. Check for updates
  5. Click on the download button
  6. Install updates
  7. After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears onscreen
  8. Reboot the device

Through Support app:

  1. Open the Support app on your device
  2. If not installed, download it from the play store
  3.  Open service tab
  4. Tap on update
  5. Check for updates
  6. Click on the download button
  7. Install updates
  8. After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears onscreen
  9. Reboot the device
