Nokia is rolling out the May 2023 firmware for the C12 and G11 Plus devices with a handful of bug fixes and UI enhancements. Currently, these new rollouts are making their way in India and will be available in other parts of the globe.
Both devices are obtaining some changes in terms of the latest update. The Nokia C12 is getting the new Android 12 version with the April 2023 security patch, whereas, the G11 Plus users are grabbing the May 2023 firmware with a few tweaks for the UI section.

Nokia C12 smartphone users can identify the latest update with the Android 12 V1.290 build. Further, it grips a software package of 209MB. Though the update size isn’t big, make sure to have sufficient room in your handset to download the new firmware.

Users carrying a G11 Plus smartphone in their pockets are now getting the May 2023 security patch. This addition aims to fix the privacy exploits and vulnerabilities in the internal system and makes the device more reliable.

This software update won’t delete your data, but it is better to back up all important files before downloading a new version. This firmware requires you to free up to 1.0GB of storage to keep the software. Notably, the installation package will be deleted automatically after the update without taking up storage space.
