Samsung is currently rolling out the latest One UI 3.1 update for the eligible Galaxy devices. Meanwhile, the AT&T locked Galaxy Tab S5e is getting the older version which is the Android 10 based One UI 2.5.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S5e tablet back in 2019 along with the pre-installed Android 9 based One UI 1. Later, this tablet was also upgraded to the One UI 2.0 version and now there are some more new changes rolling out with the One UI 2.5.
The new software update for the AT&T locked Galaxy Tab S5e can be identified via the build version T727AUCU1CUB2 and comes with an update size of over 500MB. Besides the One UI 2.5, this latest update also installs February 2021 security patch for improved system security and device stability.
The One UI 2.5 update brings plenty of new features and improvements over the previous One UI 2.1 which includes a Wireless DeX connection that allows users to connect with TVs without the use of any wire.
The Always-on display can now support bitmoji stickers and you can now search on YouTube directly via Samsung keyboard. Moreover, the WiFi also gets some new functionalities which now allows users to see the speed as Very Fast, Fast, Normal, and Slow.
If you own an AT&T locked Galaxy Tab S5e and haven’t received the latest update via OTA, then you can check it manually by going through Settings > Software updates > then Download and install.
