[UPDATE: Verizon and AT&T too] Samsung rolling out the One UI 2.5 with September 2020 security patch to the Galaxy S10 series

UPDATE:

The device is now receiving the One UI 2.5 on Verizon and AT&T carrier in the US. The software versions are G970USQU4ETH7, G970USQU4ETH7, G970USQU4ETH7, and G977UUCU5DTH7 for the Galaxy S10e, S10, S10+, and S10 5G respectively.

To manually check for updates, navigate to Settings > System update. If your system is up-to-date, you don’t need to do anything further. Otherwise, tap Download and install to update your phone.

SEPTEMBER 24, 2020:

The Galaxy S10 series users in the US are now receiving the One UI 2.5. It is now rolling out for unlocked units and also for Sprint and Boost Mobile locked devices. We could also see this major update on T-Mobile and Verizon network very soon.

SEPTEMBER 10, 2020:

Samsung Galaxy S10 series is now receiving the One UI 2.5 update in more regions including the UK. The latest update brings many new features. The Galaxy S10 series users in the US are still waiting for the major update.

SEPTEMBER 03, 2020:

After the Galaxy S20 series, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 2.5 update to the Galaxy S10 series. It comes with many new features and September 2020 security patch. Some of the main features are; Samsung Wireless Dex and enhanced Pro Video Mode.

This update is currently rolling out in Germany and should soon be available in other regions. The software versions are G970FXXU8DTH7, G973FXXU8DTH7, and G975FXXU8DTH7 for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ respectively. The size of this update is around 1000MB.

To update the version on your device, you will need to have a minimum battery charge of 20%. You may be prompted to update when it’s available, otherwise, system updates can be done over a Wi-Fi connection or with the Software Upgrade Assistant.
