Leak code suggests Samsung is already testing Android 11 (One UI 3.0) for the Galaxy S20 Ultra

Almost every Android smartphone maker has started the Android 11 beta program, except Korea’s Samsung and China’ Huawei (for obvious reason).

Well, it looks like Samsung has started working on the next major Android OS update for its latest flagship phone. According to the leaked code, shared on China’s Weibo, the company is testing the Android 11 for the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The code is likely for the Galaxy S20 Ultra units in the UK.

In the given code below, you can see the model number SM-G988B and 3 digit code ‘BTU‘, which confirms the device name and the country code. It also confirmed the OS version number, which is Android 11.

Samsung has its own version of OS skin, One UI, which has extra flavors over Google’s Stock Android OS. Samsung is likely to start the Android 11 beta program for its smartphones after the official launch of the Android 11.

We recently reported that the company may also release the One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy S20 series before the major One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11.
