Galaxy S9 and S9+ getting the last major feature update with One UI 2.5, brings Wireless DeX and more

On August 05, 2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 series, alongside the company introduced the new version of One UI, One UI 2.5.

After the Galaxy Note 9 devices, Samsung is now rolling out the One UI 2.5 update to the Galaxy S9 series smartphone. The update is currently rolling out in Germany. It comes with many new camera features, Wireless DeX, gesture navigation, and more. The One UI 2.5 is still based on Android 10. You can check the complete features here.

Samsung will gradually start rolling out the One UI 2.5 to the Galaxy S9 series units all around the globe. The software version of this update is G960FXXUCFTJ2 and G965FXXUCFTJ2 for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ respectively. It also adds the October 2020 security patch. The size of this update is more than 700MB.

If you want to check for the update manually, just head into the device Settings and tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.
