Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9/S9+ may not get the One UI 2.1 update

Samsung introduced the One UI 2.1 with the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip last month. Samsung’s One UI 2.1 update has already brought some of the best Galaxy S20 features to the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10.

Recently, a Korean community manager mentioned that the Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S9 series may also receive the One UI 2.1 update.

If you are expecting the One UI 2.1 update on your Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9, you may get some disappointment in the future.

According to a notification sent in the South Korean Samsung Members app, Samsung may not have any plans right now to bring One UI 2.1 to the Galaxy Note 9. It could be the same for the Galaxy S9 series.

From the previous record of Samsung’s software update policy, we learned that the One UI 2.1 update won’t be available for the Galaxy S9 and Note 9.
