Galaxy S9 getting 5th One UI 2.0 [ZTA2] beta with many bug fixes, close to stable release

Samsung is now rolling out the 5th One UI 2.0 beta update to the Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones. It comes with fixes for many bugs and the January 2020 security patch.

  • Galaxy S9: G960FXXU7ZTA2
  • Galaxy S9+: G965FXXU7ZTA2

Changelog:

  • Fixed noise occurrence when performing sound quality optimisation while playing music with USB C-type + 3.5pi
  • Updated Digital Wellbeing to 1.3.0.37
  • Fixed the issue of data loss when moving Contact
  • Improved camera performance
  • Fixed issues that can not be released by Secure folder PIN after Android 10 OS upgrades
  • Improved motion recognition in gesture navigation state
  • Fixed issues that do not apply again when changing SIM SLOT icon

Availability:

This update is rolling out for the Galaxy S9 series and available in India and UK. It comes with the January 2020 security patch. The size of this update has is 111MB.

How to check for the software updates?

If you want to check for the update manually, just head into the device Settings then tap on the Software update, and go for the Download and install option.
