Samsung Fold 4 Camera features

Samsung officially launched its new foldable smartphone – Galaxy Z Fold 4 last month. The device comes with a lot of improvements over the previous model and camera improvements are among them. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes with some brand new camera features, borrowed straight from the Galaxy S22 series.

For the first time, Samsung has installed a 50MP main camera on its foldable smartphone, compared to the 12MP one used on the previous model. This camera helps in both detail and low-light performance.

Simultaneously, there’s a 10MP 3x telephoto camera, which is an upgrade from the older 2x zoom. This summarizes the 30x digital zoom versus the up to 20x you used to get earlier. Lastly, there’s a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera, which produces some solid results with a lot of details.

These are the three rear-facing cameras of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 device. It also comes with two selfie cameras. There’s a 10MP shooter on the cover display and a 4MP under-display camera that’s hidden under the main screen.

Well, the quality of this 4MP USD is not so good, however, you can turn to the other 10MP sensor on the cover display for selfies. Alternatively, you can also unfold the phone and use the cover display as a viewfinder to take selfies using the main camera system at the back. It works very well.
