Earlier today, Samsung announced that it is bringing select powerful features from the Galaxy S21 to older flagships. As per the official info, the One UI 3.1 update for the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series will deliver some new smart camera capabilities to enhance the photography experience of these phones.
Following the announcement, the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 phones have started getting the One UI 3.1 features and changes with a new firmware update. Currently, the new update is in the initial stage, so it may take some time to be available for every Galaxy S20 and Note 20 smartphone.
These Galaxy S21 One UI 3.1 features will be available for Galaxy Note 20 and S20 series:
With the 3.1 version of One UI, Samsung Galaxy S21 phones come with incredible new camera innovations that makes it easier than ever to capture stunning photos and shoot professional-looking videos. After updating to the latest One UI 3.1, the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 will also be able to experience these features.
One UI 3.1’s Object eraser tool allows users to cut out unwanted parts of their photos easily, instead of time-consuming manual editing. If you want to edit out distracting objects, simply tap the area you wish to remove and it will be automatically selected and deleted.
Touch autofocus and autoexposure controller:
The latest One UI 3.1 brings an improved touch autofocus and autoexposure controller features that make adjusting the focus and brightness of your photos easier than ever so you can capture your best shot every time. You can edit the brightness of your image before you’ve taken the shot by just a swipe left or right anywhere on the screen.
Multi Mic Recording:
The Multi Mic Recording feature allows you to simultaneously record audio through both your phone and a connected Bluetooth device such as Galaxy Buds Pro, Buds Live, and Buds+ in Pro Video mode. If you’re a vlogger or a musician, you can make videos that look and sound incredible with the help of this function.
Never miss a moment with the improved Single Take feature, which captures a variety of still and video formats simultaneously, with just a tap.
As we know, all the captured photos and videos are stored in the system Gallery app. Therefore, Samsung One UI 3.1’s new Gallery app arranges and groups your photos and videos into a clean, easy-to-navigate feed.
Eye Comfort Shield:
Eye Comfort Shield is the upgraded version of the Blue Light Filter option that adjusts the blue light based on the time of day automatically. Its warmer tones help you to sleep easier at night and you can set your device to automatically adjust your screen’s colors throughout the day or personalize the schedule yourself.
Using the Private Share feature, the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 owners will be able to remove metadata that reveals the location of photos before you share them. Moreover, this new functionality also allows you to control who is allowed access to the content you send, and how long it is available.
On the other hand, the experience of the Galaxy ecosystem becomes smooth and seamless by using the new One UI 3.1 on the device. As well as a consistent interface that makes switching between your phone and tablet hassle-free, Galaxy Buds Pro, Buds Live, and Buds+’s Auto Switch feature means that your audio follows you when you switch between Galaxy devices.
If you are watching videos or listening to your favorite songs or podcasts on your phone, you can enjoy a more realistic and immersive sound by connecting a compatible smartphone and Galaxy Buds Pro (with 360 audio), which keeps you at the center of the listening experience.
