On December 3, 2020, Samsung has officially introduced the latest version of One UI – One UI 3.0. The third generation of One UI is based on Android 11 which brings various changes in the user interface that directly reflect on the lock screen, app drawer, notification panel, Settings menu, and more.

As we know, the new version of One UI is built on the eleventh generation of the Android operating system. Users get some major functions with Android 11 including Chat Bubbles, one-time permissions, notification history, screen recorder, better privacy controls, and more.

Starting December 2020, the South Korean tech giant has started rolling out the stable One UI 3.0 update to the Galaxy S20 series. Later on, the Galaxy Note 20, Note 10, S10, Z Fold/Flip, Z Fold 2, Galaxy A51, M31, M21, F41, M31s, and M30s have also joined the party with the One UI 3.0 update.

Now, the company’s popular mid-range smartphone Galaxy A71 5G has begun receiving the Android 11 and One UI 3.0 features via over-the-air. Meanwhile, this firmware is currently rolling out for the Sprint locked Galaxy A71 5G units in the US, we can expect, the international unlocked models will soon get the One UI 3.0 changes.

For now, the Galaxy A71 5G owners who picked Sprint as their network service provider can check for the Android 11 update manually by opening the device Settings then select the Software updates section, and finally tap on Download and install.

The Galaxy A71 5G users can identify the latest software update via build version A716USQU2CUA7. Apart from the One UI 3.0 and Android 11 features, it also adds the January 2021 security patch in order to enhance the device security.
