[One UI 3.1 too] Samsung Galaxy S10 One UI 3.0 update is now available

The company has already updated the Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Fold, and the Galaxy Tab S7 series to the One UI 3.1.

The software version of this update is G970FXXU9FUBD, G973FXXU9FUBD, and G975FXXU9FUBD for the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ respectively.

Back in January 2021, Samsung Galaxy S10 series devices have started receiving the Android 11 update with the One UI 3.0 version. The company has initially released this firmware from Switzerland and expanded to some more markets including India and the US.

Moving forward, the Galaxy S10 users have reportedly started facing major camera and phone heating issues after updating to the first One UI 3.0 stable update. Later on, the company has suspended the Android 11 update rollout for the remaining Galaxy S10 users.

After different phases of the verification of the Galaxy S10 One UI 3.0 firmware, Samsung has reopened the One UI 3.0 update rollout. Till now, the company has expanded this software to several regions. The Galaxy S10 device owners can update their phones to the Android 11/One UI 3.0 version now as this firmware is available widely.

The One UI 3.0 is based on the Android 11 operating system. It comes with several new changes in the user interface that directly reflects on the Settings menu, lock screen, app drawer, notification panel, and more. It also brings optimizations to the system for a better user experience.

Furthermore, Samsung delivered the February 2021 security patch to several eligible devices including the Galaxy S20, S21, Note 20, S20 FE, and A50. But, the Galaxy S10 lineup has not yet received any new firmware update after the One UI 3.0 features. It is expected that the company will release the new security update soon.

  • Open device’s Settings
  • Scroll down and select Software updates
  • Hit the Download and install option.
