Samsung Galaxy S20 FE again starts getting One UI 3.1 firmware update

Last week, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has started receiving the latest One UI 3.1 software update in some European countries. Later on, the company delayed sending this update to the remaining devices due to some technical issues and system performance issues.

According to the latest info, the Galaxy S20 FE models have again begun receiving the One UI 3.1 features via OTA. Identified via release number G781BXXU2CUB5, the latest software is currently rolling out in some countries including Poland, Baltic, Slovenia, and France.

This new update weighs around 1700MB which is included with February 2021 security patch. Moreover, the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 flagships have also started receiving the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update with new smart camera features from the Galaxy S21.

On January 14, 2021, Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 series flagships that come pre-installed with the Android 11-based One UI 3.1. So far, the Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy Note 20 models have received the changes of the One UI 3.1. We can expect, the company will soon send this update to the Galaxy Note 10 and S10 phones.

How to check for updates manually:

  • Open device Settings
  • Find and select the Software updates menu
  • Finally, tap on Download and install button.
