Samsung Galaxy S20 grabbing March 2021 security update

Samsung Galaxy S20 series is the premium offering from Samsung that was launched last year with many high-end features. This series of smartphones were the first to get the taste of One UI 3.0 back in December 2020.

These devices have also received the One UI 3.1 update last month which comes with upgrades over the previous One UI 3.0. The company is now rolling out March 2021 security update for improved system security and device stability.

As per Samsung, this update brings fixes for 4 critical and 26 high levels of threats and exploits. Users can identify this latest firmware carrying software versions G981BXXS6DUBAG986BXXS6DUBA, and G988BXXS6DUBA for the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra respectively.

It is important to note that the update is currently rolling out for the Galaxy S20 users in Europe and will soon expand to the other regions as well. If you haven’t received the update via OTA then you can also check it through Settings > Software updates > then Download and install.
