[Update: Aug 29] Samsung One UI 5.0 Beta program delayed in Asia

Samsung has again delayed the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta program for Galaxy S22 series in China. According to a Samsung member, it will now be released on August 26 (Via SammyFans).

It’s worth mentioning that the One UI 5.0 Beta 2 is also said to release on Monday. It looks like the rest eligible countries’ users will directly get the 2nd beta version.

Samsung began the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 program and released the first beta update for Galaxy S22 series earlier this month. The program was said to expand to 7 countries, however, it has only reached three countries including Korea, Germany, and the US, so far.

Among the remaining countries, such as India, China, Poland, and the UK, Samsung was said to roll out the One UI 5.0 beta update on August 23 in China, Asia. However, it’s not happening, as per the new information.

Recently, a Samsung China Community member reported that the company has delayed the One UI 5.0 beta release in China to August 25. It should be noted that Samsung will launch the One UI 5.0 beta program in India, Asia around the same time as in China.

The Galaxy S22 users in India and China will have to wait for a little longer to get reach the One UI 5.0 beta program. Whereas, there’s no confirmation on when the UK and Poland users will get their hands on the beta version.

Additionally, the Samsung community moderator recommended Galaxy S22 series users upgrade their Samsung Members app to the latest version. It is the only way to join the beta program thus, it should be updated so that you can access the beta program on time.

Yup, many countries’ users haven’t even gotten the first One UI 5.0 beta and Samsung has started preparing for beta 2. Recently, a trustable tipster revealed that Samsung will soon release the 2nd version and it will come with new icons for some apps.

These apps include Samsung Gallery, Camera, Messages, Contacts, and Phone. Additionally, there will be new features, and improvements for the current ones as well as it will fix the bugs and instability that users are facing with the existing beta build.
