Samsung One UI 5.0 is currently in the beta phase and it already introduced a slew of new features and improvements over the previous. There are many One UI 5.0 components that are worth discussing, meanwhile, in this article, we’ll talk about Multi-user support.

One of the major changes in One UI 5.0 is support for multiple user profiles on a single device. This is a feature built into stock Android that Samsung previously opted not to offer on its Galaxy smartphones, fortunately, it is now available.

This feature separates user accounts and application data. It is useful in cases when parents allow their children to use their phones, a family may share an automobile, a critical response team may share a mobile device for on-call duty, etc.

With Samsung One UI 5.0 bringing Multi-user support, you can use user profiles to more clearly separate your work life from your home life – one profile is for personal use while the other is for business work.

It should be noted that Samsung has already made this functionality available on its tablets, which is more likely to be shared among multiple users. If you need some tips on how to create a new user profile on the same smartphone or tablet, you can check out the easy method mentioned below.

How to use:

To enable multiple user profiles, under Settings >> Accounts & Backup, tap Users, then turn on the toggle. You will then see an option to add additional user profiles to your device. Secondary profiles will be set up as if your phone were new, and each user profile has its own home screen, settings, and app library. You can also create a guest profile if needed.
