Samsung One UI 5.1 may not be coming to the Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite April 2022 update

Samsung has recently updated the Galaxy Watch 5, which brings phone zoom feature support to the Camera Controller app. According to a report, the update mentioned that flagship Galaxy models launched after the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip will get One UI 5.1 update soon.

Since there’s still confusion about whether the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip devices would get the One UI 5.1 or not, but, the company hinted that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite are no longer eligible. As both devices launched before the Galaxy S20 series flagships, the One UI 5.1 update may not release. Samsung has already updated the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite with the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 version.

At the Unpacked next month, the South Korean tech giant will launch the Galaxy S23 series smartphones. The upcoming flagships run the new One UI 5.1 software out of the box, which will be rollout to older flagship models launched after the S20 and Flip 4.

Samsung may still release the One UI 5.1 version for the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series’s Lite models, but, the possibility is less now. Just for the records, Samsung updated the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 series with One UI 4.1, after ending support at Android 12.
