Samsung starts testing One UI 2.1 for the Galaxy Note 9

There had been confusion about whether or not the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 will get the One UI 2.1 update. Well, there’s no confusion anymore at least not for the Galaxy Note 9.

Samsung has started testing the major update for the Galaxy Note 9 in South Korean and European countries, according to the build version shared by Korean moderator.

Here’s the list of eligible Samsung devices that will get the One UI 3.0/Android 11

The software versions are N960NKSU3ETD1 and N960FXXU5ETD5 for the Korean and European countries respectively.

It is expected that the stable One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy Note 9 could come in the next 2 weeks. The international Note 9 users are likely to get this update first. Sadly, no confirmation about the Galaxy S9 series.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Flex with the One UI 2.1 in February 2020. After the official launch, the company already updated the Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10 series, and some other devices to One UI 2.1 in March and April.
