On December 17, 2020, Samsung has started releasing the most anticipated One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy A50 users from India. Later on, the company is continuously expanding this firmware for the Galaxy A50 models in different regions.
In the US, a network carrier – US Cellular has also provided the One UI 2.5 update for its bounded Samsung Galaxy A50 devices. Following its release, Verizon has also informed that the Galaxy A50 users will get this update within December 2020.
Now, we’re in 2021 and the carrier has not released the One UI 2.5 software for the Galaxy A50 which indicates that Verizon is facing some unexpected technical issues to start the One UI 2.5 rollout.
As per the info, Verizon Agent has informed a user on the official support chat that Verizon branded Samsung Galaxy A50 devices will start getting the One UI 2.5 update from January 2nd to January 8th, 2021.
If you’ve also selected Verizon as your network service provider for your Samsung Galaxy A50 smartphone then wait for a little longer until the carrier releases an OTA. If you’ve received the Android 10 based One UI 2.5, feel free to tell us your experience after updating with this software.
