Recently, Verizon has started to roll out the Android 11 update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ devices in the US. Now the carrier is bringing this major platform upgrade to Samsung’s second-gen foldable smartphone – Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G.
According to the official news, Verizon bounded Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G has begun getting its first Android update in the form of Android 11. This firmware can be identified via the build version F916USQU1CTLL. Along with the One UI 3.0, it also installs the December 2020 security patch for enhanced device security.
In short, Samsung One UI 3.0 with Android 11 comes with a refreshed user interface that reflects on the Settings menu, notification panel, app drawer, and lock screen as well as system improvements for enhanced user experience.
