Verizon rolling out April 2021 security patch for Samsung Galaxy S20

A few days ago, Samsung began rolling out the latest security updates for the Galaxy S20 series smartphones in some European countries. The firmware improves the security and stability of the system by installing the April 2021 security patch.

Now, new information from the US indicates that the Korean tech giant is expanding the reach of this new security patch to more devices in various regions. As per Verizon’s support page, Galaxy S20, S20 +, and S20 Ultra phones are getting the latest security patches released in April 2021.

In addition to security improvements, this new Galaxy S20 update also doesn’t bring any new system optimizations or features. At the same time, the company has released a major firmware update that includes a large number of new camera features, such as enhanced ultra-wide camera support in portrait mode, night hyperlapse, and so on.
