OnePlus 6, 6T receiving OxygenOS 10.3.12 update with July 2021 security patch

UPDATE – OXYGENOS 10.3.12

OnePlus starting to push the incremental rollout of OxygenOS 10.3.12 for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T:

This OTA will have a staged rollout. The OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs.

 

OXYGENOS 10.3.11 – May 22, 2021

Google’s Android 12 has arrived and the OnePlus 9 series phone was also invited to join the beta program alongside the Pixels. While, the OnePlus 6 series users are waiting for the Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 update and meanwhile, the company is rolling out regular security patches for these smartphones.

The OnePlus 6 and 6T phones have now started receiving May 2021 security updates which install improved security to the devices for a better user experience. In addition, it also fixed some known issues and improves the system’s stability.

The latest firmware update can be identified with the OxygenOS 10.3.11 for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. This OTA is a staged rollout and may take time to cover each and every device.

While the users can also check for updates on their smartphones by going through Settings and then the Software update section.
