OnePlus just unveiled its new flagship phones under the OnePlus 9 series that comes with a bunch of premium features. These smartphones are launched to redefine the photography experience along with Hasselblad camera technology. The lineup consists of three phones namely the OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9R.
According to the latest information, the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro devices are now receiving their first-ever update which brings bug fixes and several optimizations for smooth functioning and a better user experience. These smartphones come pre-installed with the latest Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 which is currently under beta testing for other OnePlus models.
While both the update and the handsets are yet to reach the consumers and the latest firmware for these smartphones can be identified via the software version 11.2.1.1.LEx5DA for the Indian variants, while the European models are getting it with OxygenOS version 11.2.1.1.LEx5AA/BA.
Besides anything new, the update promises several optimizations and bug fixes for enhanced user experience. The optimizations are rolling out for the camera and system. And the update also brings improvements in the network with improved stability and performance. Additionally, it also fixes the Bluetooth compatibility issue.

While the security patch still remains February 2021 and it will cost you around 345MB to install this latest firmware on your OnePlus 9 device. If you have grabbed this latest OnePlus 9 handset then you can check for the update through Settings, under the Software updates section.
