UPDATE 5: May 27 (00:21 ET) – May 2022 security update
OnePlus has released the May 2022 security update for the OnePlus Nord CE smartphone users. The update fixes various security and privacy-related vulnerabilities and is currently rolling out in India, North America, and Global.
This latest update fixed various security and privacy-related vulnerabilities from OnePlus and Google, including some critical, some high, and sometimes moderate levels of CVEs. The update protects the smartphone from viruses and harmful actions.
If you want to check for the update manually, just head into the device settings and start the download. For that, head to Settings > System > System updates and tap on the Download button to install the OxygenOS 11 latest update on your phone.

OnePlus has now started the OxygenOS 12 closed beta program for the OnePlus Nord CE devices. You can apply for the program from the given link below.
To be eligible, you need to meet the requirements below:
- You are using a OnePlus Nord CE India variant
- You are an active OnePlus Community member
- You are willing to regularly communicate and report issues/suggestions to the OnePlus team on Telegram
- The CBT version is not the stable version, which is still in development. After updating to CBT version, you’ll remain to be patient and tolerate its instability and accept all risks which might be caused by it

The recently launched OnePlus Nord CE 5G is now collecting another update with June 2021 security patch for improved system security and device stability. As always, the new update brings several improvements and optimizations for a better users experience.
The latest firmware can be identified with OxygenOS 11.0.4.4 and the detailed region-wise version numbers are mentioned below. The face unlocks experience and the charging speed have been improved with the latest update. Furthermore, the front camera has been very well optimized and it also brings system stability and fixes some known issues.

Additionally, the new update enhances the night mode by reducing noise in the dark areas of NIGHTSCAPE photos and also optimizes the video call experience. Besides this, the update does not include any other new feature.
Additionally, it also brings the latest June 2021 security patch for improved system security which is currently missing on other OnePlus devices. The company seems to crawl in the software update rollout after merging with Oppo. Many of its smartphones haven’t yet received the June 2021 patch.
