OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro getting April 2022 security patch [OxygenOS 12 C.48]

UPDATE 4: OxygenOS 12 C.48

The OnePlus 9 series had started receiving the security patches of April 2022 in India, leaving behind only the OnePlus 9R model, which is now catching up.

The latest update brings version C.48. While we do not exclude the presence of further generic bug fixes and stability improvements.

UPDATE 3: OxygenOS 12 C.47

OnePlus has started to push the incremental rollout of OxygenOS 12 update with version number C.47 for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The update brings the March 2022 security patch and the fixes for some bugs.

This update is already rolling out to the EU region, and NA will soon follow. Please note that some of the changes are only for the NA version. Check the complete changelog below.

UPDATE 2: OxygenOS 12 C.46

OnePlus 9 series is now getting a new OxygenOS 12 update with software version C.46. The update brings a fix for the abnormal AOD display and blurred screen issue.  The update also brings the February 2022 security patch.

We have started to push the incremental rollout of OxygenOS 12 update – C.46 for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. Please note that the NA version will not be released for this build due to specific country-related limitations. Please stay tuned for the next update.

UPDATE 1: OxygenOS 12 C.40

A new OxygenOS 12 update with version number C.40 for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro is now rolling out. This new update resolves a few of the pending issues.

DECEMBER 17, 2021:

OnePlus recently released the Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The company has now released a new software update with the OxygenOS 12 version, which brings solutions for the number of bugs. It also brings the December 2021 security patch.

The company said that this update includes fixing all the recently reported bugs by several users, including:

  • The failure to connect to the mobile data in certain scenarios
  • Phone notifications not being visible
  • Freeze issues
  • Some display problems, etc.

OnePlus says:

Regarding the other reported problems, please rest assured that they are also covered in the follow-up update plan, such as the auto-fill feature in Chrome and the temporary lack of access to the Ultra HD 48M / AUX camera on GCam.
