OnePlus has started the OxygenOS 13 testing for its smartphones, based on Android 13. The company has already released the stable Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 update for the flagship smartphone OnePlus 10 Pro.

OnePlus has also released an Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 Open Beta program for the OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, OnePlus 8 series users, 9RT, 10T, and 10R smartphone users.

OnePlus Android 13 build is available for developers and other advanced users. By providing early access to OxygenOS 13, app developers and other early adopters in the community can start creating better software experiences.

However, we do not recommend flashing this ROM if you have little or no experience in software development, plan to use the device as a daily driver, or have no experience in flashing custom ROMs.

How to install OxygenOS builds? – Rollback Guides too (In case of any fault)

Note: This upgrade method only works for the IN&EU version, NA users please refer to the upgrade guide below.

 

Note: In order to upgrade this build successfully, be sure that your device is in the latest OxygenOS 12 version (A.15 or A.16). The current Open Beta 1 users will receive this build push gradually.

 

  • Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
  • Copy the ROM upgrade package to the phone storage.
  • Go to Settings -> About device -> Version -> Click Build number 7 times and enter the password, now you are in the developer mode.
  • Go back to Settings -> About device -> Up to date -> Click the top right button -> Local install ->
  • Click on the corresponding installation package -> Extract -> Upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
  • After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
  • Update successful.

Note: This upgrade method only works for the NA version, IN&EU users please refer to the upgrade guide above.

 

Note: In order to upgrade this build successfully, be sure that your device is in the latest OxygenOS 12 version (A.15 or A.16). The current Open Beta 1 users will receive this build push gradually.

 

  • Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
  • Copy the Upgrade package to the phone storage.
  • Install this apk . You’ll need it to update. Then, open the app -> tap the top-right gear icon -> find the upgrade package and tap it -> wait to finish the installation -> tap reboot
  • After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
  • Update successful.

Note: This downgrade method only works for the IN&EU version, NA users please refer to the rollback guide below.

 

Note: This rollback method will erase all the contents of the phone, please be sure to backup first. Some applications may be lost after upgrading, you can restore the lost applications by updating to the latest MP version via Local OTA update.

 

  • Download the latest ROM rollback zip package from the specified server.
  • Copy the ROM rollback package to the phone storage.
  • Go to Settings -> About device -> Version -> Click Build number 7 times and enter the password, now you are in the developer mode.
  • Go back to Settings -> About device -> Up to date -> Click the top right button -> Local install ->
  • Click on the corresponding rollback package -> Extract -> Upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
  • After the rollback is complete, click Restart.
  • Rollback successful.
