OnePlus OxygenOS 13

OnePlus has revealed almost everything about OxyenOS 13 at a launch event in NYC, but it’s not actually available today. As we know, this OxygenOS version is based on Android 13, which is yet to be released. Well, the Chinese smartphone brand has announced that the OnePlus 10 Pro will be the first to receive the OxygenOS 13 (all-new water-inspired design Aquamorphic Design) update later this year.

Moving forward, OnePlus did not provide any details about when the update would roll out, only the OnePlus 10 Pro would be first. Surprisingly, the OnePlus 10T comes with Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 pre-installed.

OxygenOS 13 Aquamorphic Design – Inspired by Nature

At the launch event, OnePlus promised an all-new water-inspired design called “Aquamorphic Design”. The user interface has soft and rounded edges for a more comfortable viewing experience while form and function coexist. With these layout changes, you will notice that your system colors are getting darker as the day goes on.

There are many other improvements throughout the system. You can start with Always On Display and integrate Spotify and Bitmoji. The information is very easy to access while maintaining the minimal look and feel that the always-on display provides.

Hopefully, Oxygen OS 13 will come to the OnePlus 10 Pro sooner or later. And it comes right after the OnePlus 10T. So keep this in mind when making a buying decision.
