OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro receiving February 2021 security update in the US

OnePlus is currently sending the latest Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 update for its eligible smartphones. The OnePlus Nord users have recently started to get this latest update while the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro beta participants have recently got the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 7 with several improvements.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro have just recently received the OxygenOS 11 beta 3 with several new improvements. While the users are still waiting for the stable version and the company is now sending new security updates for these smartphones.

The new software update for the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro brings the latest February 2021 security patch for improved system security and device stability. Other than the security improvements there are no other changes introduced via this update.

The new update for the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro can be identified via software version 10.0.7.GM25CC in the United States. This security patch will require 87.56MB of your mobile data. It is rolling out in batches so it may take some time to reach your device.

  • Tap on System
  • Open System settings
  • Click on Download and install now.
